Speaker Bio:Eren Ergin is the general manager, Renewables & Distributed Assets, within the Honeywell Process Solutions strategic business unit. HPS serves industrial customers with leading automation technology, software and services, project management experience, and global engineering and support resources. The company has offices around the globe, serving customers in more than 150 countries.

Mr. Ergin is responsible for the growth and delivery of the Renewables & Distributed Assets business, focusing on supply of remote operations centers for energy management and modular battery energy storage systems (BESS) combined with outcome based long term services.

He joined Honeywell in 2017 and draws on 20 years of experience in business development, sales, project execution and operations in privately-held and large multi-national organizations. His prior work has included roles in conventional energy, renewable energy including solar, wind, energy storage, geothermal and biomass at Calterra Energy, TAS Energy and GE.

Mr. Ergin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Duke University.

Speaker Bio:Pep Gubau is CEO of Bigfinite, bringing transforming new technologies to the pharmaceutical industry. He is an entrepreneur and has been working in IT for the last 25 years, with companies pioneering in Linux adoption in the 90s, cloud in the 2000s and big data in the later years. Though having an Economic Theory, Econometrics and Math background, his early career was as a software developer for the chemical and pharma industry. He later was CTO & COO of a large IT consulting firm until 2003, when Pep founded his first IT company. Two more followed. Pep is an Economist (University of Barcelona) with an Engineering degree and holds several international patents related to the encryption, transmission, storage and processing of large volumes of data for regulated environments in the cloud. Pep teaches IT topics regularly in several Master Programs in Universities in Europe and the Americas, and gives talks about the impact of Big Data, Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics to the industry. Born in Barcelona and raised in Italy (Ivrea, TO), Pep currently lives in Tiburon (CA, USA).
