Pipelines today transport a variety of resources, including oil, crude oil, refined products, natural gases, condensate, process gases, and fresh and salt water, and are the most dependable and safe mode of transportation when compared to other modes of transportation.

When pipelines are well constructed and maintained, spills and leaks are very rare, but no transportation system is 100% safe.

Pipeline safety issues can arise from a variety of sources, such as manufacturing flaws, external weather and environmental factors, land-use activities near pipelines, other operational issues, and age-related integrity issues.

The federal mandate in North America makes for an imperative opportunity for owners/operators of pipeline assets to implement real time computational leak detection system by October 1, 2024.

With our Honeywell Process Solution Installed Base with Experion PKS, we can ensure that you meet the federal mandate in time.
